When I was doing this painting I decided to paint with a softball as my limitation. I think for me my hardest thing about this project was trying to get different textures on the painting and trying to just paint in general. When I first started this I knew I wanted to do different textures for the basket, sky, and the balloon itself. I got to thinking and I over came this problem by using the smoothest part of the softball and going back and fourth to paint the balloon with. I found out that when the pain dried it made dark marks so I used that as my shadows and highlights. When doing the sky I dotted the softball on the paper instead of rubbing it to make smooth lines it made sort of like a bubble type of pattern. Lastly I thought about the basket and what I could do so I decided to paint with the seams of the softball to make a rough looking pattern and it happen to work out nicely.
